British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley presented her first fragrance exclusively for Marks && Spencer. The 27-year-old beauty has already tried herself as a designer, having developed a lingerie collection for the same brand. Rosie’s success inspired the Marks && Spencer to continue cooperation, this time in the field of perfumery. Rosie for Autograph smells, as you might guess, of a rose. Or, to be more precise, “an extract from hand-grown centifolia roses”. The floral fragrance was created under the strict guidance of Rosie, and was inspired by the image of “an early summer morning in a country garden”.
“As with my lingerie collection, I was captivated by the simplicity and elegance of Centifolia rose when creating the fragrance. A rare, vintage flower, it definitely expresses that this is really my fragrance – fresh, but mysterious, which gives a feeling of luxury and sexuality to the one who wears it, ”the supermodel described her creation.
Rosie was helped by perfumer Ralph Schwieger to work on Rosie’s eau de toilette. Together they traveled from New York to London, spent months searching for the perfect solution, and personally witnessed the care and attention with which these roses were grown and harvested. The advertising campaign that accompanies the novelty was filmed in his native Devonshire in South West England.
“Shooting commercials where I grew up was a natural decision. I think it created the perfect backdrop and highlighted the tender and beautiful feelings that the fragrance embodies. It was very important to me that every aspect of the new fragrance had a connection with my heart,” Rosie explained.
A series of photos is complemented by a video that embodied everything that the girl wanted and turned out to be very gentle, floral and spring. It remains to wait for the perfume to appear on the shelves of Russia and personally evaluate the debut work of the supermodel.
